Group or private classes

General Information and Pricing

Workshops last around 3 hours and are held in my home kitchen in Claremont, CA.

Classes are customized to your preferences, but I would be happy to guide you in planning your workshop. Clients choose the cuisines they prefer, and all materials and recipes are included. Clients taste and sample during the class which concludes with a shared meal.

Private and small group workshops are generally hands-on and are the most effective way to learn cooking techniques and cuisines. Larger groups may prefer a cooking demonstration. All groups large and small are encouraged to relax, have fun and you may bring along a favorite bottle of wine of other beverage of their choice.

I am available most Saturdays and Sundays but will make time with advance notice to accommodate those who prefer another day.

Private/semi private classes: These classes are limited to 1-2 persons and are the most personalized. It is ideal for couples, parent/child or individuals seeking a more immersive learning experience. $150

Small group classes: These are minimum 3 and maximum 6 clients. Generally, clients form their own groups from among friends, family or colleagues and contact me to schedule a time and inform me of their cooking interests. $60 per person

Larger groups: Groups of more than six can be accommodated. Call for price

Sample Workshops

Cooking basics for beginners: This workshop introduces clients with little to no cooking experience to the joys of cooking. You will learn about basic tools and cooking techniques and you will learn simple and non-time-consuming recipes. Like all my classes, it will be tailored to your interests. (Ideally this workshop is best suited to a private or very small class)

Regional cuisine workshop: This workshop introduces clients to the cuisine of a specific country. The course will include techniques, flavors, and ingredients of the cuisine. Clients will be guided through cooking a full menu, including appetizer, main course, side dishes, etc.
